Suggestions for a food gift delivery

I need to send a nice thank you gift to be delivered this weekend. Rather than just flowers, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for something lovely and perhaps foodie? A bit different to just chocolates? Budget £20-£25.

I recently ordered some nice bits from the Newt in Somerset , they have free delivery and my foodie friend enjoyed it

It was mainly a nice apple juice and olive oil but it was appreciated

I sent some of these to a family member after seeing them recommended on here - they really loved them:

My husband got me a hamper of lovely Italian food.
With your budget, I think it’d be best if you went to a nice deli and put it together yourself if possible and then present it in a basket you already have in the house.
Is that a possibility? Or does it need to be an online and delivered purchase?

If it has to be online and delivered I’d go to Betty’s.

I treated myself to a cream tea box and it was amazing. Even the tea bags were fantastic quality. It came in a lovely gift box too.

Thank you. The Newt has actually prompted me to think of cider even if not from them, so that's a good idea, as are Brownies.

I love Betty's but ironically the recipient lives in a small town with a Betty's so that's one of the reasons I'm stumped! It's one of my go to favourites.

Those bottled bakes are brilliant! They won't work for this person but I'm banking that idea too!

Cookies?

If you're thinking of cider, Sxollie sounds interesting and seem to be heavily marketing themselves at the moment.

Cheese would be another possibility. Lots of artisan cheese shops will deliver a mixed selection of cheeses, often with accompanying biscuits and pickles.

The Courtyard Dairy is one of many highly regarded options.

Bluebasil brownies are great.

I had a red letter day cheese hamper ? The red letter part arrived for my birthday and then I could choose the hamper?
Really like some of these suggestions Smile

During first lockdown I sent my sister-in-law a gift box of assorted flapjacks and brownies from Blackfriars Bakery. It was much appreciated. www.blackfriarsbakery.co.uk/products/
