NHS Band 7 interview help!

Hello,

I have an interview on Monday for a band 7 post, its clinical - AHP, not nursing.
My last interview was for a band 5 post so im a bit scared. Im not sure if other people have gone for the post, its quite niche so possibly not but i want to be well because this is my dream job that ive worked very hard for. I have all the qualifications hey want, just not necessarily the experience.

Ive fully researched the hospital policies that are relevant (its the trust I currently work for) the behaviour framework etc but are there any 'buzz words' i need to get in there?

Thanks

Depends on the job role but integration, management style, winter pressures, managing change, risk.
Someone had feedback for a job recently and was told to talk like you are already in the job.
Good luck. 👍

Is it a clinical or management role?

Just look at what are the current hot topics in healthcare at the moment, and how will they relate to this role?

Fab suggestions. Thank you.

Its clinical, a specialist role. No management responsibilities (apart from support staff I suppose but i wouldnt be their line manager.)

Maybe have some examples to go of trust values as may have questions around this. A time when you showed respect or similar.

I'd make sure you have a good understanding of any recent developments in the field, any national reports/policies/targets. Some ideas of changes/innovations you would like to make. Challenging situations you have dealt with, anything you have done which shows initiative/going beyond the basics of your role.

I've got an interview for a clinical specialist role as well next week. I know it's been a long time, but any chance you remember what sort of questions they asked you? Thanks
