What ridiculously mundane things have excited you recently?

My washing machine broke last weekend so I quickly picked one and am expecting it tomorrow. I've only just sat down to really look at the features and I'm incredibly excited that I can add washing AFTER the cycle has started. And the reviews say it's actually quiet! I just want to tell everyone, but DP is looking at me like I'm a loon so thought I would share it here instead.

I discovered I could give my children random demands via Alexa! They shit themselves at the spontaneity, then laughed, but it amused me. I could even add fart noises!!

Getting a dishwasher repairman booked in for next week after months of no dishwasher. Can't wait

I got my bathroom done up recently. The vanity, tiles and mirror all line up perfectly. It makes me so happy.

I'm going paint balling with colleagues tomorrow, I am super excited! 😎🔫
