DBS and Child protection

My child was subject to a child protection plan years ago due to something their Dad did. No allegations were made against me, their dad moved out of the family home and the child stayed with me for the entirety of children's services involvement, and still do.
Is this something that my local police force may deem as 'other relevant information' for an enhanced DBS for children's workforce? I have had conflicting advice and was hoping that anyone with experience or knowledge of these things may be able to reply!

It's completely down to the senior officer at your local police force... that'll be why you've had conflicting advice.

Mine is notorious for disclosing anything possibly relevant, some are a lot more restrained.

You could phone and ask if they could advise? Or confide in the organisation requiring the DBS ahead of time. This should be pretty understandable from their point of view, and even though it's not a conviction, declaring it ahead of time is always better than a surprise.

No it won't show on your DBS. The enhanced check should show things like warnings, spent and unspent convictions etc but a child protection plan is not a criminal conviction so it won't show on there.
Is your job with social services?

I have already applied for the DBS and didn't disclose it because I didn't know it would have been relevant because nothing has shown on previous checks, but when I realised it may be different for this as it's a child workforce not an adult one, I contacted someone at my organisation straight away but they haven't got back to me yet.
Not social services no, it's in healthcare.
