Just that really - I'm taking DD and her friend for a weekend in Bristol next weekend and need ideas as to what to do, where to shop, eat (everything really). Live in London so have access to all big shops here but she still wants to go to Urban Outfitters but also she likes smaller and vintage shops. Be great to eat somewhere considered teen cool. She's 13 so younger teen. Thanks all

Urban Outfitters is in Cabot Circus which adjoins Broadmead and Quakers Friars. These areas all have the major high street brands that you would find in any major UK city.
For independent retailers I would suggest Gloucester Road (it's the A38 - one of the major roads out of the city) or the Clifton village area (can be pricey as vair posh area of Bristol. )
The distance between all of these is several miles so I would suggest catching a bus or driving.

Other things worth trying are a ferry trip around the harbour. There is a hop on hop off ticket available and ferries go the full length of the harbour from the back of Temple Meads Station all the way to the Pump House pub at the Cumberland basin (area where the floating harbour rejoins the river Avon). On the way you could stop off at ss Great Britain, M Shed, We the Curious (hands on science place) and Bristol aquarium. There's loads of places to eat around the harbour.
Further afield is the Clifton suspension bridge which has a visitor centre and in Patchway is the Concorde museum.

One word of warning. Bristol is very hilly and we don't have an underground or tram system.

Great - thank you. We'll make sure we have our walking shoes on ;)

Yeah for a 13 year old wanting “cool” stuff I’d definitely go to Gloucester Road. Lots of quirky independent shops and cafes.

Gloucester Road (lots of quirky shops and street art)
Queens road (Clifton/studenty and more expensive)

YY to Gloucester Road.

Bristol is known for its burgers, Three Brothers is a boat on the river that serves amazing burgers, fries etc and isnt too expensive.

Wapping Wharf is pretty cool and has lots of different food options. It’s basically containers that have been turned into restaurants.

Gloucester Road it is then! Thank you :)

There are street art walking tours that might appeal(or look up their routes so you can spot things if you'll be close by anyway).
