Just as the title says really, what magazine's do you read.

I uses to love reading a magazine but whenever I now go to a shop that sells them I can never decide what to get so don't buy any. I'm 32.

Yes, see what your local library offers. Many give a really good choice completely free. I like food and travel magazines like Delicious, Olive, BBC Good Food, Sunday Times Travel, also Trail and Country Walking about hiking. Also Good Housekeeping.

Most 'women's glossies' are absolutely dreadful, 70% adverts, 25% gushing pieces about the stuff they've been sent by brands and 5% actual content. And they charge up to a fiver for this!

That's free on an app, not actual magazines in the library, for clarification.

I agree with looking at what can be had for free in the likes on amazon prime or the library. I recently did a 3 month kindle unlimited trial so I could nose through the home and living mags on offer as I wouldn't necessarily buy those.

Magazines wise I tend to veer towards independent mags, Womankind, Oh magazine, London Review of books Delayed Gratification magazine, Breathe magazine. For kids I love Scoop Mag, Aquila (gorgeous illustrations), Sadé magazine is a wonderful quarterly designed to empower and inspire young black girls (but is of course a superb resource for anyone).

I don't subscribe to them all at once but flit between them; when issues interest me I'll pick them up or download.

I'm by no means immune to celeb gossip etc but I think you can get your fill of that online for nothing. What I like most about the independent magazines is they don't really date, you can pick and old copy up at any time and it still be interesting informative and fun.

For me a magazine online wouldn't cut it.

I buy closer every week when I do my supermarket shop. I know it's utter tosh, and the same celebs every week but I don't care.

I like their fridge raider article, their recipe section, their guest celeb feature, their fashion pages and their puzzles, and also their book and film reviews. I buy alot of their book recommendations.

I leave it on the kitchen table and it's a chill time for me whenever I get 10 minutes to make a coffee and sit there with it. It takes me a week to read I sometimes.

I don't get magazines online, for me I like having the physical tactile time with an actual page turner.

I have a Readly subscription and love looking through all the craft/home decor magazines (even the foreign language ones that obviously I can't read!) The Scandinavian mag Retro is one of my favourites and I love Flea Market Decor. I never buy paper copies of magazines anymore.
