I had an appointment today for a procedure I'm due to have Done. Whilst there they did my BP and. It was 90/ 66
She said oh is it always low.

I honestly don't know. And tbh I'd imagine it would be Lower normally as I was very stressed at that point.

They noted it as the procedure I'm having is under sedation and she starred it *

Do I need to ring the gp

Also would this be a reason I always feel Drained like I could sleep for a year.
Get quite 'fluttery' palpations.

The more I think about it the more I'm worrying.

I do suffer anxiety but it's been pretty much under control for a while.

I suffer from LBP - for me a lot of the time hitting the 85ish mark / 55-60 ish mark. I have had spells of unexplained dizziness. Even doing something like sitting down watching TV. I saw a doctor for mine and I was told there isn't really anything we can give for LBP and to just increase my salt intake to see if it helps. I haven't done this as I'm not a salt lover, so I've just accepted I have LBP.

I'm prone to low bp too - to the point when it's a new nurse doing it I have to say yes you've done it right it's usually that low.

I have pots too - all fun!

Low bp is more rare and less likely to cause health issues than high generally speaking but it can be a cause for concern at certain times.

Might be worth a wee chat with gp

Have you ever had full iron studies done? That's an easy one to check.

I've always had really low BP, and was once told it's glos because it tends to rise with age. I'm not sure id that's true, that it's good, but I'm now older, post menopausal, and my BP has gradually risen.

It's now usually 120/70 and I'm always told that's great!

It won't hurt to have chat with the GP. My understanding is that low BP is not seen as something dangerous and they can't really give you anything for it.

Low bp runs in my family - mine is slowly rising now that I am in my 40s. I only feel bad if it goes below 90/50 - then I either have a cold shower or a coffee, that tends to do the trick short-term. My sister always gets comments from whoever takes her BP - "with that BP I'd expect you to have fainted" - but she has never felt unwell with it.

Mines pretty low. 90/60ish. Resting heart rate is 50 odd. Rarely even during pregnancy did my systolic bp reach tripple figures. I have to say it's never concerned me.
