I applied online for a driving license for my dd yesterday.
Utterly stupidly, i didn't realise that i was on a website called driversuppportonline.uk until this morning when dh queried the cost of £114 instead of £34😳.
i've called the bank to dispute the transaction and emailed the company to cancel the transaction but now we're really worried about identity theft as they're based in Estonia! I gave debit card details, dds passport and NI numbers, address etc etc.
i have the number of action fraud to report at 8,
is there anything else we should do?
has anyone else fallen for this and it been ok?
i feel so utterly stupid that i just didn't realise, was a bit giddy about applying for her license and didn't check it wasn't gov.uk 🤦‍♀️

I don't think it's a scam op.

They are horrible sites and are a total rip off but the onus is on you to check it's the gov.uk one. If they provide the service you paid for then I don't think you'll get your money back sadly.

One to chalk up to experience!
