Considering the practicalities of a second baby.

I start a new job in September 2021 (this year, obviously.)

What’s the earliest a baby could be born in order to qualify for enhanced maternity pay. (Please don’t direct me to that flow chart, if you don’t mind! )

@crinklyfoil definitely don’t bank on it not deviating from the burgundy book. I worked for an academy chain and we were TUPE’d over for 3 years but the maternity provision for new staff was significantly worse than the burgundy book.

If it’s a big chain trust then there should be a Seperate HR dept to ask, or look in your staff handbook. Hopefully it will all be fine
