WFH people, how do you juggle household chores with working?

Because my house is a shit hole and I’m sick to death of it.
How do you keep on top of it?

Oh, I also wouldn't start from a house that was really messy, you can't expect to tidy that up in little breaks, maybe do a big spring clean, and then try and keep on top of it

We have a cleaner come once a week, we both wfh.
Everyone picks up after themselves all week, each person has a section in the washing basket for their own washing, I do my own DH does his own and whoever notices DCs section is full does theirs.
We tidy things away often but do a specific tidy away before the cleaner comes so she can clean properly instead of picking our stuff up.
Whenever anything in the house breaks I intentionally look for a replacements that are easy to clean, such as less fussy light shades, induction hob Vs gas hob, flat kitchen doors.
We also set the roomba timer for 8am every day so it's finished before work calls. Dishwasher is unloaded and loaded a lot, benches kept clear so it's a piece of cake to wipe down a couple of times a day.

I barely lift a finger now compared to in the past.

I do household chores before and after work and on the weekend just like I do when I’m working in the office. The house is no more messy because I’m working from home. Sometimes to get ahead I may empty the dishwasher while I’m standing in the kitchen waiting for my lunch to cook. But it creates no more work than when I was doing 12 hour days in London.
