Long bank holiday weekend - June 2022 (not a nice question to ask)

Not a nice question to ask, I know.

But the long bank holiday weekend scheduled for next year (Thursday 2nd June & Friday 3rd June) to mark the Queen’s 70 years on the throne...

Is the Queen dies before then, will the holiday be cancelled and we revert to the late May bank holiday?

She’s pretty fit and healthy for her age, I think it’ll be fine. There’s a chance any one of us won’t be here next year!

Sad but true. Don’t want to tempt fate but the Queen is in pretty good shape for her age, I think she has a few more years to go yet. Prince Philip had been quite frail for a few years before he went.
