Help! Do I need to be worried about dry/secondary drowning?

DS is 18 months and was just playing at his water table and chucked a little jug full of water at his face, inhaled a load as he had a massive coughingfit and couldn’t get his breath for a bit - he was breathing but like when you cough because you can’t get your breath properly if that makes sense.
He’s fine now, but the friend I was with said I need to look out for secondary drowning but there aren’t always a lot of symptoms.Confused

I’d never heard of it so googled and everything refers to pool, lake or sea water rather than drinking or tap water and nothing refers to how much water would cause it if that makes sense.

I’m a bit PFB so now it’s really put the wind up me and I’m a bit scared of putting him down for a nap in an hour like normal.

He’s always been a bit of a water splutterer when drinking etc he’s largely grown out of it now and it’s never even occurred to me that a big coughing fit due to water inhalation could be dangerous - I’m pretty sure I’ve done it countless times myself and have frequently heard kids at the pool etc doing it.

Would you worry or am I being completely OTT?

No you really don't need to worry in this situation.

Thank you! I wouldn’t normally but since friend said that I’ve been really spooked.
