Teen girls and food

Just for reassurance, really!
It's a well-known thing that teen boys eat masses and are hungry a lot. But what about teen girls?
My DD (16) will usually have a round of toast or cereal an hour or so after dinner. I don't say anything as I'm terrified of installing any kind of eating disorder but does this sound 'normal'? She is not skinny but not overweight - she is a healthy looking size 12.
I do wonder if it's partly boredom as at weekends she will often come to the kitchen to just 'graze'...
Are other teen girls like this?

My dd (17) seems to be the opposite. She doesn't eat until lunchtime and then we see her at dinner time and then she doesn't seem to eat again.

Ds (14) comes through to the kitchen for regular snacks

Yep my dd nearly 18 is like this. Non stop eating. She’s 5ft 11 and a size 8 - just as I was at her age and just seems to have a bottomless stomach. We encourage her to eat whatever she likes. If she’s like me at 40 her metabolism will have slowed down so she might as well enjoy it now!

My DD is 13 and will often have cereal in the evening after supper. She's v skinny. So yes I think it is normal.

My DD was constantly hungry as a teen. She was and remains very slim, partly because extremely active with sports, gym, walking places etc

Yes DD 14 eats a lot but is also pretty active and certainly not overweight. But yes, I also think sometimes it's due to boredom.

DD didn't seem to eat much when she was at school, now she's working (and on her feet all day) she's eating loads more.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'd be less worried if my DD was extremely tall and skinny. Instead, she is about 5'6 and size 12. I'd hate to see her put on weight and then be anxious about that.
I've had issues with food at times in my life and I want so much to install a sensible, healthy attitude towards food in my DC.
It was much easier when she was much younger and just ate what I provided!

I also would feel better about the constant snacking if she was very active but she's not...
