What have you seen, what have you got booked? Looking for some birthday week inspiration.

I really want to see the infinity mirror rooms as Tate Modern but it's sold out until October. Thinking about buying tickets for later in the year when they go on sale in September. Sorry, that not much help for right now!

Alice exhibition at the V&A is a delight.

The Alice Exhibition looks really good - I heard a review of the Epic Iran one also at the V&A and that looks interesting too.

@FruityPolos I really, really wanted tickets for that too. I logged on within five minutes of receiving the e-mail and was 19,000 in the line. I'll also be trying again when the new releases come out.

Recently I have been to see Co-existence coexistence.org/ - really interesting and a very cool concept. I am actually going to revisit when it is not raining!

I've done the Barbican Architecture tour - I had tried for years to get a ticket for this but it seems they've increased the number of tours they are running; this was exceptional.

Whilst at the Barbican I went to the How We Live Now exhibition which was also fantastic - lovely coexistence of feminism and architecture and all for free.

I saw a great exhibition advertised about a person who goes to live with a rural tribe / community for several years and documents their culture. Sadly I can no longer find it so am unable to book it.

I've also tried to book the Iran exhibition at the V and A, but no tickets until September - that one looks fantastic too.

I am wondering if places are offering tickets on the door for when they have no shows.

The Fashion Museum has one on Chintz at the moment that looks fascinating - perhaps combine with a trip to Tate Modern.

I saw the Nero exhibition advertised at the BM.
That's right up our street and I'll probably take DH for his birthday. Sadly London is a bit far for us else we'd be there a lot!

Managed to get tickets for the Royal Academy Emin/Munch exhibition (don't worry the bed is not displayed!) but no luck with David Hockney's Normandy works.

The collections at the Wallace Collection, Kenwood House and the National Gallery themselves are worth a visit.
