One full time job or two part time jobs?

Nc'd for this.

I currently have two jobs. Both part time. One is front of house, one is retail management. I need to decide what to do and I'm not sure what to do. I'll explain below.

In my retail management job, I have to use my annual leave from my FOH job to cover the area managers annual leave. This means that I never get my own real annual leave, as I only have the part time annual leave from my management job to take, which is only half of my week, which is really annoying. My management job might get shut down due to Covid but it's very up in the air, it could go either way. My FOH job is very secure, the company make a lot of money. They've asked me to go full time but I don't know if I should. It's obviously a step down, but the money is slightly better than my management job. However, it is a 0 hour contract, so one week it could be 40 weeks, another 32 etc. It also means that I could get a lot less hours in the winter. They only have one full time position available and I'm scared that if I turn it down, I could lose my management job and then only have a few days as FOH. Our area/surrounding areas have been really hit with job loses and there are barely any jobs, even supermarket ones. What would you do in my position?

This is a tough one. Straight away from the title I thought one job would be easier regarding annual leave but after reading I don't know about the zero hours contract. I suppose it depends on how many hours you need to get by, could you survive if you were only to get 20 hours one week?

Never take a zero hour contract unless you can afford to not work. If they want you full time, ask them to give you a full time contract.

@mog27 I thought about that, but then if my management goes, then I'd be on even less Sad there aren't any supermarket jobs here. It's easier in terms of annual leave and tax to have one job, I just don't know if I should let go of a management job Sad
