Toys specifically for showers?

Hi all,

Recently moved to a house with just a shower in it. Eldest is fine taking a shower but my 6 year old, while she tolerates it, is reluctant and takes some encouragement.

Can anyone recommend any shower specific toys I can stick to the wall or have in there? I let her take her barbie mermaid in at the moment but it doesn't have the same magic as it does in the bath.

Honestly I just want them in and out as quick as possible! Maybe a water pistol and stick "targets" on the outside of the shower cubicle? A foaming soap to "paint" the glass?

Could you fit a plastic container in the base of the shower cubicle as a makeshift bath? We do that when camping. It could take the pressure off the shower usage for a while. My kids didn't like the shower til pretty recently. I just held the shower head lower and kept the water pressure low and gradually built up.

I know this might sound bizarre but my ds used to be terrified of the shower and would scream and refuse to go in( he has autism) but loved superheroes, so i found a plastic Cape and used swim goggles as a mask( he hated hair washing)..I would also give him something to like a water pistol or the silly string for baths and he loved it.

Bath paints/crayons for the tiles?
My dd likes to take a doll in to wash dolls hair.
She likes the Alexa on the landing playing Disney songs too.
Also it's easier to get her in if I take the shower head down and let her hold it/control it

You can buy a small paddling pool, put it in the bottom of the shower tray and let them have a mini bath sometimes!

Sorry, thought you were on about other types of toys

Boon pipes

You beat me to it!!!

DS hated the shower, so we got a small paddling pool to sit in the tray and used that as a bath. When it came to hair washing, the goggles came out

Boon pipes are great, but my two genuinely love the shower squeegie (spelling?!) and can spend ages cleaning the shower screen!

I can’t think of any toys but maybe swimming goggles if she doesn’t like water in her face and a playlist of songs she likes to sing along to?

Disappointingly, this thread isn't about what I thought it was going to be about from the title. 🤦🏻‍♀️😉😂
