Lockdown and peoples attitude

I don't know about you, but I have noticed some awful attitudes towards others, it's like over the course of lockdown peoples manners and behaviours of being a civilised society has gone out of the window and it seems like we have become very short tempered, inpatient and irritable.
(Myself included)

Am I the only one to have noticed this, if so what was the situation you noticed where this occurred??

I've noticed that people seem to have lost the ability to walk along the pavement in a considerate fashion.

A year of lockdown has basically made everyone bonkers IMO, so whatever the behaviour I put it down to that.,

I can't hack sitting in traffic any more after experiencing how quick and easy life can be without it. It also makes me really cross when people stand too close to me in shops, I'm unvaccinated and I think oh well it's alright for you, you've probably had both your vaccines so you don't mind spreading all your horrible germs all over the place. I know IABU, pregnancy makes me a bit grumpy.

I think it goes back a bit further, to the divisions caused by Brexit. Though agreeing it has got worse over the last year. The timing of the greatest restrictions, effectively five months in total over the winter including two months minimum home schooling, did not help.

I've just realised how much I hate people and would rather not have to spend time around them.

I work in retail and have noticed a lot of customers who say they’re just venturing out non essential shopping for the first time in ages who have forgotten how to treat us as human beings. It’s usually prefixed with “I’ve been working from home for so long I’ve not ventured out”

However on the flip side we’ve also had lots of lovely customers who’ve just started shopping again who are so pleased to be out and chat to people again who we always take the time to have a little chat with and put them at ease - especially pensioners.

So we’ve had good and bad.

I completely understand, my wife gave birth 8 weeks ago and is BFing and also hasn't been asked to get the vaccine but she feels the same way about people. Im the same in traffic, I always try to take the quickest route to work

Driving in general.

People pulling out all over each other.
People being more impatient.
Truck drivers who got used to having the road to themselves.
Elderly people driving really, really slowly on National speed limit roads. I do feel sorry for these as they’ve obviously lost their confidence due to being stuck at home so long but it’s really dangerous!
