When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I'll start: I wanted to be the first woman train driver.

I wanted to work in a shoe shop, ended up a cbt therapist in the nhs 🤣🤣

A vet. I'm a domestic abuse advisor 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh I had a few! I wanted to be a ballet dancer or actress. An RAF fighter pilot or a Marine (at the time the Marines weren't accepting females and females couldn't be fighter pilots). And then finally a doctor by 16. Sadly I am none of those.

A vet. But unfortunately my talents didn’t lie with A level science subjects.

I'm in my 40's and I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up!!

A doctor .. and I am. Feel very very privileged.

I wanted to be a teacher. I’m now a primary teacher. Achieved my dream, but don’t know how much longer I can last.

A librarian.

Just found out dh wanted to be an author, so that's quite a nice book- related match!

When I was really little I wanted to be a traffic warden.

Librarian, then a vet, then a journalist, then a volcanologist, then a teacher... Always with the background plan of being a famous author, having lots of money and not having to bother with work.
