Birthday party invites

Would you chase rsvps for a child's birthday party or not bother? We invited some pre-school friends who we haven't heard back from and unsure whether to check or just take silence as a no? I don't really know the parents at all as different drop off/pick up times which might be why they don't want to come but I haven't heard anything from them (we are not in the UK so dont think it is for covid reasons!)

I need to confirm numbers with the venue and am worried if they just show up, there won't be enough food!

I think it's ok to chase once but I wouldn't a second time. Life is busy they may have forgotten to reply, although it is rude!

So frustrating when folk don't respond, I would chase up once.

Definitely chase up once. Just say that the venue needs the numbers.

I would definitely chase if you have contact details for them. Very rude (but all too common) not to reply if you've put an RSVP date.

Definitely chase up once. How did you contact them the first time and how long ago?

Yeah chase up once

I’m at the opposite end...

I received a party invite for ds who asked for an RSVP... but left no contact number Confused
