Which hours would you choose out of these options?

Same amount of hours but I have the choice of

8.15-4.15 with half hour break

Or

9 - 5 with half hour break

Children are fine for transport to school there and back.

As the children are catered for regardless, I'd be opting to start earlier and finish earlier as you could do more with the extra 45 minutes in the evening than you will with the extra 45 minutes in the morning.

I always prefer to start earlier and finish earlier because I'm a lark and would feel like I'm wasting the morning hanging around before going to.work

Sleepplease1111 · 18/05/2021 07:20

Earlier.

AnnaSW1 · 18/05/2021 07:44

Earlier 100%

Brill that’s what I’ve gone for

Lunch at 1pm
Between 8.15-1, do you think reasonable to have a 10min break (ie taking my coffee outside the front door to get fresh air?)

@ItsGotABitOfPink

Early start. I wake up early and hate waiting round to go to work.
I’m the opposite, so I’d say the later hours. Smile

I'd say the later hours too....i.love having time to potter around in the morning and get some jobs done before i leave for work.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 18/05/2021 09:08

Depends if you're a morning or evening person. I'm a morning person, up at 5am on weekdays so I'd prefer the earlier start.

Definitely, if you were a smoker you'd be going out for a fag break 😁
IhaveMyMoments · 18/05/2021 11:27

Earlier start. Best rush hour traffic, eat a more reasonable time.

Absolutely. I wfh and some days are manic others a doddle. Some days I even manage to peel veg in lieu of a break. The difference is my employer encourages us to step away as you work more productively after. And sometimes we're told to stop working. you've got autonomy to manage your day as you see fit! Enjoy!
