Right. I need help (please) I have put a stone on since November. This is mainly down to wfh and my mobility getting so much worse. I am currently waiting for 5 joint replacements but this is obviously not going to be done very quickly. What veggie foods can I eat and prepare easily to stop me putting any more weight on? I am 6ft and currently 77kg. I'd like to go back to my November weight ideally! (Which was around 71kg). I am going to force myself to get out of the house once a day even for a walk around the block. Thank you

You can lose weight without exercising at all by carefully portioning and making filling choices. I am unable to exercise due to health conditions but have managed to lose (too much!) 3 stone.
If you work out your tdee here, reduce the calories by 20% in order to lose weight
tdeecalculator.net/
If you weigh and portion your food and log it on My Fitness Pal you can track your calories and it can help you make better choices.
I make a lentil and veggie bol that is only around 100 calories. I serve it with a small, baked sweet potato (100g is only 90 calories) or a small 100g jacket potato -no butter- instead of pasta (100g would be over 300 cals!)

I have a high protein yogurt for pudding which is around 90 cals so I’m full for the rest of the night and don’t snack before bedtime.

Exercise is obviously great for your cardiovascular health, and hopefully once you have your ops it will be a lot easier for you to exercise, but don’t be disheartened by not being able to be so active now, you will still be able to lose weight.

@Acryforhelp thank you so much for this and the link. I am going to give it a look now. I tend not to eat much at all (if anything) in the day and then eat a huge portion of food at night. Not the best at all.
