ADHD signs in women

Reposting from the mental health board as I didn't get any replies.

2 years ago I was diagnosed with ASD. After reading a link on here a few weeks ago about ADHD in adult women I think I have ADHD too. Following a GP appointment for an unrelated condition where I briefly mentioned it they have asked me to make a list of why I think that. Only now I can't find the link.

Does anyone remember it, have a link to any other list of signs or talk to me about the signs in women?

Needs a list.
Too much - everything at once.
Needs control because otherwise everything is overwhelming.
Just to give you a start. Me and dd both, autistic/adhd. Not very h. Unless we're in the mood.

Leaving important things until the last minute.
Not being able to make decisions when faced with multiple choices.
Starting a job and getting distracted eg. Start washing up and end up rearranging the plate cupboard.

Thank you.

Max lots to read there, thanks.

Doingitmyself needing a to do list and control is 100% me as is having several things on the go.

Gilead I procrastinate like a pro when it comes to making decisions and completing my own paperwork, but I'm straight to it if it's for others. Confused it frustrates me no end.

How are you getting on @ADHDNC?

ADHDNC · 25/05/2021 21:20

Maximum thanks for checking in. I have made a list, but have been procrastinating over making a GP appointment Blush which is ridiculous really.

It’s really not ridiculous, it’s part Of ADHD to feel overwhelmed about starting something that feels big. I have an ADHD spouse and an ADHD child and see this a lot. Treat yourself gently and work at a pace that feels comfortable to you.

You are the first person to acknowledge my difficulties. I feel people often roll their eyes at me because I am very organised when it comes to helping others but can't do the same for me. If DC needed an appointment I would have been straight on it.
