Hello,

My BF who I have not been able to see has a delightful baby boy aged 10months and we are seeing each other next week and I am looking for a gift (hopefully something he can play with straight away). My children are much older now so I feel out of the loop so I would be very grateful for your help. Thank you!

@GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER

The ‘tails’ cloth books, I think by Jellycat, are perfect for this age, if you want something not too expensive that won’t take up a lot of space.
Really? The soft books are nice for younger babies but at 8 months, DC2 is already more interested in board books, and I think DC1 was similar

A set of wooden ice creams? My kids played with them so much and still do at age 3 and 4!!

My twins loved the “that’s not my..” books at this age

@NameChange30 I tagged you and then my phone died! All I meant to say is that I love those B toys so much. Great recommendation.

The duplo train set would be a good call. My kids have played with theirs from babies right though to 5/6yo.

Rosa and Bo nesting babies have come up in my FB feed a few times and they look really lovely. I'd buy them for DD if we didn't already have far too many toys!
