I am looking for recommendations for a grass cutting tool.

A lightweight trimmer for cutting long grass. There is a petrol powered trimmer at home but nobody every showed me how to use it. I asked my brother for years to show me how to use it but he never did saying that its not for a woman and its too heavy. The grass is getting long and he won't cut it. He's too lazy and prefers sleeping around the long.

If I could source a lightweight trimmer I could do the job myself. I will be able to start on a Saturday morning and just do it before it grows into a jungle.

I need a grass trimmer for long grass.

This is the third thread you have started about getting the grass cut.

Either go to a DIY place and get some advice on an appropriate mower that you can handle (it's really not that hard to cut the grass, it's not piloting the International Space Station) or get a local gardener to come and do it.

If your grass is very overgrown, it's probably worth paying a gardener to do some clearance work as they will have more powerful tools and know what they're doing.

You have to be quite strong and have good technique to start some petrol operated garden tools, so a lot of people struggle with this.

A battery powered strimmer and lawnmower is a good idea and most people, even women are perfectly capable of doing many gardening tasks. However, if you have a lazy layabout of a brother, he could always get off his arse and do it, as I'm sure both you and your DM contribute in other ways.

If you do buy tools, get the same brand you can manage with one battery (or batteries, sometimes the lawnmowers need 2) which saves on cost. If looking at battery powered tools, make sure you know what you're buying, as often it seems like a good price, but there are no batteries included and they're expensive.
