Suggestions for great “going back to the office” song

Not in us - we’ve been at home now for 15 months - workplace will hopefully open back up in September meaning it would have been about 17 months working from home

Am putting together an announcement about getting back together in the office and need a great intro song …. Any ideas? Not “9 to 5” and nothing explicit - someone suggested “here comes the sun” by the Beatles which is good

Any other suggestions ?

I used to work somewhere that was all over this stuff, and this thread has made me very glad I don't any more

I think you need to find a song that acknowledges what's gone by, and also that not everyone will be happy about going back to the office.

For example, in my team someone has died and others have been made redundant, so the 'team' that existed doesn't any more. If someone played 'Here comes the sun' and expected me to be happy that would be completely tone deaf.

Also, plenty Millennials are turning 40 this year. They've got kids and mortgages and parents who might need some care; they'll have to go back to paying for childcare and seeing their kids less due to the commute.

This cliche of Milennials as young and crazy is so off. I write about the workplace and you wouldn't believe how often people paint them as the new face of employment. They're really not.

Why can't people imagine that different work place are different! One of our longstanding staff is leaving this week and she's asked us to put together a leaving do playlist, suggesting songs we could play when we ARE allowed back. I'm definitely cribbing from this thread.

Some people are so miserable. It's just a song lol. If they were forcing people to get up amd dance, that would be a different story.

I can only think of that Backstreets Back song, but it only really works for the part where they say " Oh my god we're back again".
