Hi guys

Back from the orthodontist today for my DS 14 to have moulds and X-rays taken. Everything went well , DS teeth are actually not to bad but he does have an overbite where his front teeth cover his bottom more than they should. We are having the fitting of train tracks next month after a tooth extraction. The Orthodontist mentioned today though something he didn’t say in his last appointment which is that he is going to do both top and bottom on same day , I’m sure he said separate last time but don’t mind which. He is going to put some glue on DS molars to stop him biting down onto bottom brace. I didn’t really think anything at the time and he mentioned it at the end but now I’ve googled it I’m really worried how this is going to go and how will effect DS speech and eating ? I’ve seen a few posts on removal blocks or plates but can’t find anything on the glue ? Any one had any experience of this please ?

Thank you
