I’ve just briefly left my bed to start the washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher and robot vacuum. 10 mins later, I’m now back on mumsnet while the magic machines do all my housework for me Blush

I think we need a what can we do from bed thread.

I pre warmed our oven via a phone app so I could put a croissant in from bed.

I made us bacon sandwiches and we have just watched four episodes of our box set in bed. DH has just got up to use his gym equipment. We are then having an hour of necessary but boring chores. He worked about 80 hours this week.

Dd had a sports activity at 9.00am this morning. Dh got both the dc up, dressed, fed and left the house with them whilst I continued sleeping. They came back around 11ish with a mcdonalds breakfast for me which I ate in bed. I've continued lazing around watching netflix, whilst listening to the sounds of the dishwasher being emptied and i think the kitchen might have been cleaned too.

I did a massive spring clean earlier this week so there is no housework to be done, I'm up to date with laundry, the weather is too rubbish to go out. I'm thoroughly enjoying my lazy day.

@Mrsjayy My DM had a twin tub, it was dragged out of the larder every Saturday and all washing done, sheets, towels, school and work uniforms.
Obviously, Sunday was epic iron day. I hate ironing, I spent so many Sunday afternoons ironing everything! Literally everything was ironed, except towels.
I am now goggling Rudy vacs .....

I get up for a pee and open the living room blinds before going back to bed. Saves the tutting eyeroll from nosey neighbours.
