What knickers do you wear?

Couldn't think of a less blunt title so I apologise for that, I went shopping for some new underwear and the number of different styles amazed me, it made me wonder what is most popular or most commonly worn.
Me personally I've always gone with a BoyShort because I find them most comfortable and any styles that sit directly on the bikini line usually cause me a rash so I avoid them.

What do other women mostly wear?

I used to wear hipsters but fairly recently bought some classic briefs.....ye gods, the comfort!

@BestestBrownies probably somewhere in the middle. They're stretchy and comfortable at the waistband but obviously there's a structural integrity to them if that makes sense. They don't feel rigid or uncomfortable at all.

I live in Oddballs underwear. I wear their bralettes or sports bras all the time too.

Not always the same style; l buy 2 pairs of matching knix whenever l buy a new bra.

In addition, l like the microfibre Brazilians. I don’t do white or so called “nude” the latter makes me look as if l have a cardboard crotch.

If I’m wearing tights, l usually wear the Autograph seam free, which have a cotten gusset and you get a better line without wearing any. Plus the tights stop up better; the top adheres to the whole body without double layer slippage.

On a warm summer’s day (although, they are hard to remember) l go for the air conditioned undercarriage with a longish sun dress and don’t wear any at all, with a few (period etc) exceptions. Shhhh! 🤫

Tangas in microfibre because I find them much more comfy. Big pants (no matter what shape, or how many sizes up I go) just end up scrunched up in my bum crack. At least with a tanga or thong it's just a tiny strip of material so not uncomfortable. I wore them even when I was pregnant. It's absolutely not to look sexy but totally for comfort reasons. I wear soft crop tops instead of proper bras for the same reason. I can't tolerate uncomfortable underwear any more.

I think I'm you!! I only wear microfibre Tangas for the exact reason....

High cut briefs.

Damned if I can find any nice ones though (no vpl, silky, stretchy, cotton gusset etc.)

They all seem to be poor quality cotton with little or no stretch. Or they inly stretch sideways, turning them into Tangas.

Cant abide anything with low/boy legs. They ruck up.

Whatever happened to Modal? Cant find it for love nor money now!

I like what used to be called tangas but with a bum, not a thong. Basically, two triangles with a thin strip. They are very hard to find now. I bought 2 packs of ten a while back, but I think they have been discontinued. ☹️

I've just moved to classic. OMG, so comfortable. I'll never go back now.
M&S and Sainsbury's is where I got mine.

It does surprise me that monochrome words on a screen are where some men might choose to get their thrills when they have literally endless porn at their fingertips.

Can anyone recommend Sainsbury's or M&S (or other easily accessible shops) knickers that are good for combatting VPL that are not of the wedgie inducing variety?

I ordered some high cut bikini, no vpl pants from Chantelle, thinking that, for thirty quid, they'd be good. Within 10 minutes, they've slipped down my hips, forming a sling for my arse. I spend all day hoiking them up!

I wear shorts. Thin, like cycling shorts but not quite as clingy.

I started wearing classic when I was pregnant with DC1, and two caesareans later, I won't wear anything else.

I used to wear boyshorts, but they feel wrong now.

I can thank the confinement for losing my bra and adopting classic knickers. No regrets, I'm not willing to suffer in order to look sexier ! I'm sure it makes me more attractive when I'm comfortable !

If I need to wear a pad, I wear 'full briefs' that look most like those hipster ones - not sure though, I just grab the black pack from a local market, click on a cloth pad and basically treat them like period pants rather than separating them like my DD does.

If not, I wear boxers. ASDA had these fun men's striped ones years back that I bought in small and medium depending on how bloated I'm feeling. I tried 'boyshorts', but I find them too thinly cut in the thigh for me to wear comfortably.

I wear the high cut briefs style. No way would I ever wear any from the bottom row,they strike me as highly uncomfortable. I can't wear boy shorts or hipsters,I think I must be an odd shape as they never 'sit right' on me!

Boy shorts for everyday, 'tanga' for the gym.

I like full briefs with a high leg or Brazilians which are a bit like thongs but with lace round the flossing bit

So long as they’re YUGE to cover my enormous belly and arse it’s fine though. Boy shorts tend to slide down.
