Evening, I’m shamelessly posting on here for traffic. ☺️
I am a Band 7 nurse within the NHS and have an interview for a trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner post. I’ve done loads of reading around the subject but would love to hear experiences from others having Band 7/8 interviews. I really want this job.
Also, any top tips for interviews via MS teams,

Cant help you at all with your interview subject I know nothing about it [sorry]
But with MS teams try to get a test run first , i use both teams and zoom and find the lighting on them needs to be different ,
lift your scree up to eye level and prop notes / questions up just below the screen so that you only look down very slightly .
Ask if you can record the interview and either record it on teams or use your phones voice recorder , that way you dont have to frantically write loads of notes , it is also very useful to be able to hear yourself later , so you can correct any issues like you err and umm to much or don't speak clearly or rush tour reply's

Kick all family member and pets out of the house for half a hr before hand and long enough for the interview to take place.
Good luck

As an interviewer I wouldn't agree to an interview being recorded.

Re anp interviews - think about what makes advanced practice different from another post of same grade. Understand how the roles fit strategically. Understand the 4 pillars of practice. Good luck

Thank you. I’ve learnt a lot about the four pillars of advanced practice and have got examples lined up ready to relate experiences to each pillar.

Thank you. I’ve thought about where to place notes for prompts. Thankfully, children will be at school. Hadn’t thought about locking the pets out! Thank you. I’ll have a practice run on Thursday evening.

I don't know anything about your subject, but I have done a lot of interviewing over teams in the past year.
One strong recommendation is do not refer to notes.
It's really obvious that your eye is flicking to the side / below the camera.
Someone who answers questions confidently and without referring to notes is much more preferable to another candidate who comes across as distracted and needs notes.
