Give me an activity to do with my toddler..

We head out everyday but the times we are at home we go over the same things day in day out.. yawn!!!

Give me a new activity or just something daft to entertain my 2 year old please! I feel like I have absolutely zero creativity at the moment!

I was all caught up with trying to provide activities for my child at this stage. Eventually I realised they're happiest when you're doing something and they're helping. Loading the washing machine, watering the plants, baking scones, cooking the dinner, gardening, cleaning the windows are chores to us but desperately exciting to young children. So just crack on about your business and hand them some tools to join in.

Having said the above actually I've just remembered a good one from my sons pre school. Get some chalk and draw houses outside on the ground. Number them and give him some water in a water pistol or squirty bottle. Shout 'there's a fire in number 4, we need a fire fighter!' In comes DS to put out the fire 🧯
