Should all foods have christian names?

After Colin the Caterpillar cake should other foods have full names too?

Walter Melon makes sense but might be confusing. Sean Bean is obviously correct.

Alliteration works best. You just couldn't have a Kiwi Fruit called Graham. Mayonnaise always struck me as Mary. And Peter is a nice flat sounding name ideal for Pancakes.

Anybody else or is it just me?

@Babdoc

The Church of England is still the established state church, and Christianity therefore the official state religion. So “Christian name” is perfectly appropriate. Non believers, or those of other faiths, can call it whatever they like instead.
I think most, if not all, public bodies have moved away from using that kind of terminology now, so clearly they don't regard it as appropriate.

But call it what you like. It's your right to use outdated and non-inclusive terminology, just as it's my right to judge you for it.

It's been First, Fore or Given Name and Surname or Family Name for at least 20 years. Including in baptism records, as not all Christians use the term either, what with it being a worldwide religion and not all places have the same naming conventions as England.

My df calls anything that isn’t meat-and-two-veg and contains any kind of spice unchristian food, while prodding it suspiciously with a pitch fork

Oooh tonight's were having Peppa served with mash Pauline, roasted Carl's and Lionel's. The kids might have a Belinda or an Arnold for dessert and a Yvonne although eldest with was Craig-Martyn
