Shameless TAAT.

Which TV death has been your least upsetting.

For me it's Horrible Grandma in Friday Night Dinner.

Trevor Jordache, Brookside. Showing my age there but I remember cheering when they buried him.

Thatsnotmyfacemynoseistoobig · 24/04/2021 23:15

The son beater on Emmerdale

Maggiesfarm · 25/04/2021 00:11

Pat Phelan in Corrie.

DialsMavis · 25/04/2021 00:17

Agree about Mick, came to thread to post same but couldnt remember his name, was going to say Lol's Dad

CharityDingle · 25/04/2021 00:24

Tom King, Emmerdale. Not so much that I had any strong feelings about him one way or the other.
But the way he flew out that window cracked me up. Grin

VetOnCall · 25/04/2021 00:37

Definitely Joffrey Baratheon and Ramsay Bolton. Viserys Targaryen, Petyr Baelish, Lysa Arryn, Walder Frey and Tywin Lannister's comeuppances were all hugely satisfying too #teamtyrion

HmmmmmmInteresting · 25/04/2021 00:44

Surprised people are saying Joffrey: his death was too easy and I was disappointed!

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 25/04/2021 02:09

More a film, although I'm sure it must have been on TV as well (and if not, why not?!?!), but Lizzy from Waking Ned. Fantastic film and such a single truly nasty character in amongst all of the kind, sweet villagers.

1forAll74 · 25/04/2021 04:29

Geoff in Corrie

Frazzledd · 25/04/2021 04:42

@Ontheboardwalk

Mick This Is England
My heart pounded at this, then when Combo turned up....think a rewatch is due!
wavecatcher · 25/04/2021 04:46

Ramsey Bolton in GOT, I was gleeful at his death he was such a bad guy I got really wound up watching his cruelty in the show.

Clawdy · 25/04/2021 08:14

Yes, Geoff in Corrie!

sashh · 25/04/2021 08:47

ER - Robert Romano

Oldandcobwebby · 25/04/2021 08:54

Adric on Doctor Who in the eighties. Killed by the Cybermen, and not a moment too soon.

Ontheboardwalk · 25/04/2021 09:37

Frazzledd I did a rewatch of This is England a couple of years ago and it was still as harrowing, if not more, than first time round

DialsMavis I googled Lol's dad 😂

FindingMeno · 25/04/2021 09:39

Has Maggie died in the Walking Dead yet?
( actually don't answer that)
If so I'd cheer at that as she was getting on my Wick.

Squeejit · 25/04/2021 09:41

Geoff Metcalf, Corrie, without a doubt

Frazzledd · 25/04/2021 09:45

It's back on the watch list now 👍! (I had to Google Stephen Graham to get Combo too Grin)
SwimBaby · 25/04/2021 09:55

Charlie in Corrie.

I came here to say this.
Malin52 · 25/04/2021 11:19

When Martine McCutcheon was killed by a massive cheese in Midsomer Murders.
I was massively dismayed by her appearance as MIdsomer is my hangover watch and I have an unreasonable objection to her. But she suffered cheese death within about 8 minutes.

Same with Paltrow in 'Contagion'. First to die. Hooray!

YessicaHaircut · 25/04/2021 11:24

Vee getting run over with the van at the end of season 2, Orange is the New Black. DH and I both jumped up and cheered!

The creepy vicar who treated poor Morwenna so terribly in Poldark

JackieLavertysWeirdVoice · 25/04/2021 11:33

I think when a storyline has dragged on for far too long in a 'continuing drama', and we're all bored to tears of the endless scenes of evil, and there are wall to wall spoilers about the upcoming death, you end up just wanting the writers to get on with it.

And it's something of a relief when they cark it.
