Morning all! What are you up to today?

I'm just finishing my usual silent cuppa, then going to get dressed. It wasn't exactly silent this morning though; dd2's singing away to herself upstairs & talking to her Minecrafting friends 🙄

We're off for a walk to The Range since it looks nice outside & the forecast looks good (maybe bus, depending how long it takes to get out the door!).

There's washing to be done, and a few pots left over from last night but I'll do those when we get in.

I'm thinking of doing a fried breakfast for tea.

I expect the girls will Minecraft, or watch Minecraft streamers, when we get in so I'll have a couple of hours with one of my crochet projects.

What's everyone else up to? :)

Actually I'll probably have to take DS2 to buy new school trousers. He's growing like a weed and his are all too short now.

I have a cottage pie made so no cooking today
Dc are in the garden playing. Dh is weeding. I will help after I get a few small jobs done - washing to hang out then the housework should be done for the weekend.

We are going to a market so purchase schrubs later today.

I can't be bothered going for a walk or to the supermarket or garden centre. Might just watch the TV. I am in Scotland so nothing really has opened up here yet.

Had an early morning trip to the DIY store. Had to drive 45 minutes to get to the store I needed so took up a good chunk of the morning.

Ds2 is now napping.

Im having a quick cup of coffee before I try to construct a hurling rebounder that I bought for DS. He is waiting patiently for me.

Haven't decided on dinner yet. Had a food shop delivered yesterday so have loads to choose from, but cant remember what I actually did order.

I'm at the hairdressers! So lovely to have a coffee and chat to real life people (despite the masks!)

This afternoon I'm going to a friends for drinks and food in the garden, looking forward to sitting in the sunshine and catching up.

Going out for lunch with a friend, can't wait

I have managed to put all the washing away. It’s an actual miracle in our house is that.
DP and DS have popped to the shop for milk, I’m playing with the baby/mn-ing and after lunch we’re off to a farm for our first Family Day Out post lockdown.

We're on our way to the in-laws for the first time since last summer so it's all very exciting (yes, we're staying over...). MIL sent me a pic of the Christmas tree they've put up yesterday, so looks like a full turkey roast for dinner tonight!!

Just back from second dose of vaccination at hospital. Haven't planned anything this weekend as after the first vaccination I was so, so groggy and slept a lot for 24 hours or so. Hoping I won't get the side effects this time. Just planning to read, chill a bit.

Morning

First time in a long long time we have been able to visit our summer house (I'm foreign so a different concept) this is the view I woke up to.

Just back from DD6 swimming lesson, DS8 being taken for a haircut and then DD6 has a "party" (outside gathering, 10 kids from same class / bubble, no parents staying)

I'll make biscuits with the other kids and give them a scoot around the park and later we'll pick a film and have a lazy dinner (Pizza Express was half price in Sainsburys so I have 2 pizzas, doughballs and dips!)

I'm about to get up following my last night shift. Then I'm going to Argos to collect my new carpet shampooing machine
DH is hoovering - we've Had Words as he's still semi-furloughed and had not been pulling his weight with the housework so this is a fairly new phenomenon.
DS has gone to work for the second time this year in the local pub. They only open at weekends and he only has one shift as a result, but last week the tips were excellent

Beach this morning, pub lunch in the garden this afternoon

I got a bit of a lie in, been out to the park with dh and Ds, picked up some free bread using the olio app (and a croissant each, so that's about to be eaten). Popped in to get some non alcoholic rose and salad for later and got ID'ed (33 and pregnant..), going to nap with Ds In a minute, bacon rolls for a late lunch, probably back out to the park and then a freezer tea for dinner.

Cleaning whilst Mrs PC was in town this morning.

Off for round 2 of the vaccination in a bit and then to Dunelm for a light shade and curtains for the youngests room, followed by B&Q for a pack of paintbrushes. Nobody can say I don't show my OH a good time!!

After all that, home and beers and wine will be opened.

I've been running round like the proverbial as we're going back into full lockdown again on Monday Strict curfew and only allowed out once a day.

The sun's shining through so I'm heading up to my friend's soon for a swim and and a few Happy Saturday everyone!

Currently in the hairdressers with foils in!! Bbq later and beach tomorrow. Enjoy the sunshine everyone 😀
