What do your 6 year olds do after school?

I’m very worried about DS, since the last lockdown he has seemed subdued and whilst is doing fine at school he is not particularly interested and seems disengaged.

At home we’ve cut right back on screen time as he had far too much whilst we were both working and attempting to homeschool. He seems at a loss at what to do with himself without the TV or
Minecraft. I’ve tried reading with him, colouring, crafting, board games, chucking him in the garden, Lego. He’ll reluctantly do these things but seems to need constant input from me. I’m just wondering what everyone else’s 6 year olds typically do and what else I can try?
TIA

@00100001 takes about ten minutes to read his book, and obviously the Xbox/eat/tv routine is not EVERYDAY. He has clubs which he goes to twice a week and he's very happy and healthy. I think if you're working from home as I am it's just how it is atm. Got to make it work with as little stress as possible

My 6 year old is a bit like this, although easier now we have some nice weather as she does like being outside. She will play in the garden with her younger sister, or they play upstairs in her bedroom, play on bikes/scooters. She also goes to afterschool club twice a week. I allow screen time for 30-60 minutes which is basically when I need to start cooking, so she has around an hour to entertain herself.

We were out a few evenings a week at swimming/ beavers/ karate plus being lugged out to my group, which broke the evenings up.
He's got a sibling a couple of years older with ASD which affects the tablet/ TV time and means there's more than I'd allocate to DS2 if it was just him.

I encourage free-play when they get in which is easuer in the warmer months when the conservatory and garden are plesant.
