I have done in the past; not at the moment although I'm supposed to have monthly blood tests. Keep.getting funny results.

FinallyHere · 20/04/2021 18:22

Nope.

In later life I have got to know some people whose life is pretty much ruined by health anxiety. It's such a cruel disease.

kickergoes · 20/04/2021 18:28

Oh yes, not enough to make healthier choices day to day, but enough to regularly convince myself I have cancer 🙈

MrsJBaptiste · 20/04/2021 18:29

No, what's the point?

I keep fit, try to eat healthily, drink a bit too much 😉 but am generally fit and well whilst managing a lifelong health condition. What will be, will be (in most cases)

ZaZathecat · 20/04/2021 18:30

Yes, but I think it's normal at my age, once a couple of things start going wrong!

AlternativePerspective · 20/04/2021 18:31

No.

I’m in heart failure and will one day need a heart transplant, although I’m currently well enough not to be on the list yet, but I know my heart will likely kill me one day.

But as I’ve had a cardiac arrest in the past I’ve already been dead, and if I hadn’t been revived I wouldn’t have known about it, so what’s the point in worrying? We’re all going to die.

SimonJT · 20/04/2021 18:52

Yes, I’m a type one diabetic and I have limited spleen function, so I do have to put a lot of work into my health.

Ilikecheeseontoast · 20/04/2021 19:27

Yes

ZaraCarmichaelshighheels · 20/04/2021 19:28

All the time recently.

TheCanyon · 20/04/2021 21:43

I don't usually no. I have a progressive Neuro condition and it's not really worth worrying about, it is what it is.

Though I've been pretty unwell recently and the Drs don't seem to be helping at all, so atm I am worrying very much.

Blacktothepink · 20/04/2021 22:02

Yes, but I’m type 1 diabetic so it needs constant monitoring and when I get any kind of illness I need hospital care as I go into diabetic ketoacidosus very quickly. I also have pernicious anaemia.

blackheartsgirl · 20/04/2021 22:54

Yes. All the time.

I have terrible health anxiety.

Its ruining my life

DramaAlpaca · 20/04/2021 22:57

I'm in my 50s. No, I don't worry. Not yet.

Ingridla · 20/04/2021 23:02

Most of the day, every day. I have a long term condition and am a single mum of one, 5yr old, terrifies me I'll die before he's grown up.
