I'm 43, female, anaemic, underactive thyroid, overweight, exhausted.....I'm addressing my weight, medicated firvthevtgyroud, prescribed iron, but could do with a helping hand. Any suggestions?

These are quite good, but the main thing is to make sure that thyroid is looked after. From experience, if you're underactive, nothing touches it other than thyroid medication.

Solgar female multiple. A nutritionist recommended these to me and they are good quality vitamins. Pricey but worth it for a boost if you're feeling run down.

I used Feroglobin which helped me a lot but does contain iron so need to make sure wouldn't be too much.

Exercise, even 5-10 minutes a day, can help with exhaustion even though that seems counterintuitive.

@Thenestedif sorry, I don't know what happened to my typing, my post should have said "medicated for the thyroid" . I take thyroxine daily.

@ImFree2doasiwant No problem, I knew what you meant. It's just that I've found Doctors to be a bit sparing with the levothyroxine, aiming for a "that'll do" rather than "feeling great". Sometimes it's worth getting the blood details and pushing back a bit.

Hope you find something that works for you.

Yes you are right, I keep being told my levels are borderline . Due a blood ctest soon
