I've got literally nothing in the house and need to whisk something up! Help! Need some suggestions!
Got the usual cupboard staples!

Vegetable curry and rice. Save the egg for breakfast.

We had eggs, chips, and beans in this situation last night. It was bloody delicious!

I at least remembered to defrost some chicken tonight so we’re having chicken, pasta, pesto and frozen veg.

I love egg and rice.

Crush the veg, bind with egg, season, shape into patties and fry.
Side dish of tomato rice- add dried basil if you have any

Have you been away for several weeks OP?

How did you manage to find yourself unexpectedly without enough food to make dinner?

Mintjulia · 11/04/2021 19:11

A tomato sauce made with tinned tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, fennel seeds, and bottled black olives. If these's any frozen fish in the freezer the put it on top of the sauce, cover and then cook some rice.

By the time the rice is cooked, the fish is cooked through. Delic! And quick & easy.

No past and jar of pesto or a pot of basil?

I always have cheese and oatcakes. I could live on those!

Thanks everyone. Just made the egg fried rice!

LolaNova I love that too but have no chips or potato!

Massive shop tomorrow for me!
