Reporting someone with a health condition to the DVLA

How long does it take before they get a letter? I’m dreading it tbh even though I know I’ve done the right thing. The only thing.

I have photosensitive epilepsy that is not well controlled so I have never been able to drive.
I hate not driving! I hate public transport!
But I would never ever put anyone else at risk, I won't even ride a bicycle.

I think people who keep driving when they shouldn't are very selfish.
