There are websites which will corrupt your file for you, or even generate a file of gibberish that you can name appropriately, so that you can appear to submit your homework on time, but actually get more time to work on it. When the teacher gets around to reading your work a couple of days after the deadline, Word or whatever cannot open the file, so she sends you a message and you reply "Sorry, miss" and immediately supply a new file of the same name, which is the homework that you actually completed after the deadline.

Mind. Blown.

But the new file would have a 'late' last modified date...

'Corrupt' filename: Maths
"Sorry Miss" filename: Maths2

Makes sense to rename it so there won't be any confusion with the 'corrupt' file. And of course you opened it up to check it was OK, hence it has today's date on it.

Sharing the knowledge so we can catch our teens out cheating, or what?

KindergartenKop · 07/04/2021 22:30

Does it really matter if they spent a few more days on it? It's not like a timed essay where an extra half hour makes a huge difference. As long as the work gets done.

VeniVidiWeeWee · 07/04/2021 23:37

And there are sites that will do your homework for you. Your point is?
