Any idea? Is it like when people have a pole dancing pole in their living room? What's the purpose of it?

Also, can you imagine staggering downstairs with a hangover and trying to make a coffee and down an alka seltzer in that kitchen?

I would honestly love to know what goes through people's minds when they choose their decor because I'm just not understanding this AT ALL. It must have been expensive too.
