...Make Me A Channel Of Your Peace and Immortal, Invisible. As a non-Christian, the lyrical message is probably lost on me but I like the tunes.

@TedTookVows when I read that my first thought was that it fits to the hymn how great thou art, although it is not the same lyrics bar oh lord my god, but certainly the lyrics fit to that hymn

Then sings my soul, my saviour God to thee.
How great thou art, how great thou art
(Repeat) Then sings my soul...

That’s the chorus to How Great Thou Art, which states Oh Lord My God, when I in e wonder, consider all the works Thine hand hath made.

Different to the song @TedTookVows is speaking of.

Yes thats the problem I have, its very similar, to Then Sings My Soul

I am starting to think it was privately authored and due to certain circumstances I will never be able to find out.

It was MANY years ago (maybe 20) and I have no contact point with anyone present that night

AncoraAmarena · 04/04/2021 23:54

Yes, that's the one. I love it, makes me feel very emotional.

AncoraAmarena · 04/04/2021 23:55

Sorry, that was to @GillBungalow

But my absolute favourite, that I rarely hear, is Lord Jesus Christ (Living Lord)

Gosh that was my real favourite at primary school which I haven't heard in literally decades. Thank you for reminding me of it (and thank you YouTube for making it so accessible again!).

I too love Cwm Rhondda and Jerusalem - reflecting my dual Welsh / English heritage.

I love Abide with Me (reminds me of my granny).

I Watch the Sunrise reminds me of my kids' primary years.

Another one I love (special memories of a magical church service in a very special location) is The Day Thou Gavest, Lord, Is Ended.

Not bad for an atheist eh? Grin

I Arise Today - You might enjoy this one, words are associated with our celebration of St. Patrick, sung here by Rita Connolly
