Sanitary towel help

Hi, I have just given some unpacketed sanitary towels to my daughter and she says her favourite ones are long and thick , with wings and in a pale purple packet. There's nothing on it to say what brand they are - anyone got any ideas? Supermarket websites show the outside packaging but not individuals. They are 2/3 times thicker than always.

Kotex?

Inthesameboatatmo · 30/03/2021 17:47

Always come in purple packet and are long

MaMisled · 30/03/2021 17:49

Always.

DinosaurDiana · 30/03/2021 17:52

Always night time.
Are they folded in the package ?

Crockof · 30/03/2021 17:54

Agree with nighttime or heavy period packets. They are longer and thicker, I prefer them

Always infinity? Sure they had a purple packet, were long and thinner than other sanitary towels

YouCantBeSadHoldingACupcake · 30/03/2021 17:56

Damn didn't read properly so not alway infinity. Body form nighttime are purple packets I think. Or boots own ones?

blitzen · 30/03/2021 20:39

There's some called TOTM and the super ones are in a purple wrapper

Marmite27 · 30/03/2021 20:41

This is a bodyform nighttime, so don’t think it’s that.

Bodywork are thick.

dementedpixie · 30/03/2021 20:45

Can you post a picture of the wrapped sanitary pad
Could be Always Classic as they are thicker
Or a night time pad

JM10 · 30/03/2021 20:52

Are you sure not always infinity long? I use those and they come in a purple wrapper.

DinosaurDiana · 30/03/2021 20:52

The ones in the pale purple packet I’m thinking of don’t have wings, but they’re thick.

HedgeSparrows · 30/03/2021 21:04

Honestly, I would just get her supermarket ones and not stress. Branded ones aren't any better (supermarkets get their own brand products from the brand name manufacturers anyway).
It's good to help her be flexible and also to teach her about money management (unless money isn't an issue for you of course).

womaninatightspot · 30/03/2021 21:16

Tesco own brand are with wings, thickish and the super ones are in a purple packet.

Thanks so much everyone, I've been searching - all your suggestions but no luck, my daughter is only just 10. She uses a wheelchair most of the time, so spends a lot of time sitting, she has restricted movement in her fingers and found the thick - brick type one easier to use. I bought 6 different packs today and they are all really thin with contours imprinted , rather than a cm thick flat cushion type. I haven't used them for years, so wonder if they have changed the designs since then, or maybe it was a stray maternity pad. Thanks for all your help.

Get kotex maternity pads, they are brilliant.

dementedpixie · 31/03/2021 16:09

Kotex do thick pads that are without wings
Always classic are thicker than normal always

PleaseStopExplaining · 31/03/2021 16:09

@PanannyPanoo I’m a wheelchair user. I find these Always ones best for staying put when transferring etc. They have wings and are in a dark purple packet but I wouldn’t say they were thick.

I used to use the asda long they had a purple packet.

For dps dd they use incontinence underwear as she's disabled and they are more absorbent (she's resistant to using the toilet unless she needs to go, unfortunately she has a ridiculous strong bladder and heavy periods)

PanannyPanoo · 31/03/2021 16:19

Thank you so much. I'll keep looking, hopefully find them by next month! She seems so little!
