Has anyone read this? Dd11 just got it out of the library (children's section) but it does not seem to be a children's book. Is it suitable?? Thanks.

Well I’ve just read one of them and it’s not a children’s book but neither is it a Jackie Collins. Not sure your daughter will particularly get much out of it.

Thanks! I'm not sure why the had it innthe children's section. Confused She really wants to read it!

I have read the first five. I wouldn't say they were children's books! They are absolutely fab though and certainly worth reading.
I have the 6th on order, the last one is out in May and apparently there is to be a series on Netflix.
Pinch it off her and read it!

I have these, there are sex scene in them and definitely not children's books.

I've read them all. They're lovely books but not really aimed at children. Saying that though, I read The Thorn Birds aged 12 and adored it but I had to re-read it as an adult to really understand the complexities of the relationships.

It's not aimed at children but is much more suitable than an awful lot of YA fiction. I'd probably be happier with an 11yo reading that than Shadowhunters or Twilight.

Ok thanks. I'm going to read it myself first!
