Have you had the covid vaccine while pregnant?

I'm 31 weeks pregnant, today been invited for the covid vaccine. I'm guessing either because of my high bmi or my recent gestational diabetes diagnosis.

I called 119 for advice but they just read out the generic nhs info online, I called to speak to my consultant but couldn't. Spoke to a midwife who basically said they can't advise me either way as there isn't enough info about it, it's up to me if think I can protect myself for the next 9 weeks. I'm a SAHM but have 2 children back and school and a husband who is going to work but not frontline. Other then that I only really go to my hospital appointments, so I guess my risk of catching covid is low, but my risk of becoming seriously ill with it is higher then average. But I don't know if/how it will affect my baby.

I don't know what to do. Has anyone already made this decision, and how did you decide?

I'm 31 weeks pregnant and have had both doses of the pfizer vaccine as I'm a frontline nhs worker. I personally think the benefits outweigh the risk and I also know from research to date that as a frontline healthcare worker I've been more likely to catch covid than members of the general public. The risks of more serious health complications when catching covid in late pregnancy don't appeal so for me vaccination was a no-brainer. I'd say do what you feel is right for you OP :)

I'd say I am leaning towards taking the vaccine now as I feel similar about the known risks of covid outweighing the vaccination risks. I'm just worried that something will happen to the baby and I'll always wonder if it would have been different if I hadn't taken the vaccine. But I guess something could happen if I get covid too, so I'd regret not taking it.

Ah it's so hard, and I have health anxiety so sometimes it's hard to know whether my reactions are 'appropriate', for want of a better word.

Thank you for replying
