Most young people/teenagers seem to take off their shoes without untying the bow. Do you see that as well and why do they do that?

Most young people/teenagers seem to take off their shoes without untying the bow. Do you see that as well and why do they do that?

I prefer the look of trainers with no bow but you must have to have quite chunky feet/ankles for them to stay on without tying?? I have really small ankles and narrrow feet and I have to pull the laces tight on all shoes unless I want them to literally fall off. Unfortunately this means tying them in a bow.

If I buy a size smaller they are tighter around the top of my foot but not long enough for my big toes. Sad times

I am 40 and have just bought elastic laces and am supremely happy in my laziness
