Were you born on or around Christmas day?

So a totally light hearted question.

Dh and I are about to start ttc number 2. Obviously it may not happen right away but if it did happen in the next few months then there is a chance dc2 would be born around Christmas.

Doesn't really worry me but wondered how other people feel about being born around Christmas. Does it overshadow your birthday? Is it actually nicer having a festive birthday? How do parents make sure their dc still feel special on a Christmas birthday?

Again, I don't actually mind. I will feel so lucky if we are able to have another no matter when it arrives. But I'm bored so thought I'd ask

@4Minions2CallMyOwn no worries. I'm no closer to a decision 🤣 firstly its obviously out of my control in some ways. Could be a preemy, could take a year to conceive and I won't care anyway. It also feels kinda wrong to overplan something that we would be so lucky to have happen. I could miscarry or never be able to have another child. So a big part of me thinks fuck it let's just see what happens...

Another part thinks would I be a bit selfish if I couldn't wait just a couple of months... such a silly and pointless worry to have really 😆

But good to hear opinions and have tips. I know I will be incredibly lucky whether I have a December baby or not 😁

DC2 was born a week before Christmas and she loves having a birthday then. We make sure we always have separate presents and celebrations.

Seperate presents and no Christmas wrapping paper seem to be key to success so far

DC1 December birthday and DC2 August birthday... they actually have competitions about who has the worst birthday DC1 says it's not fair because DC2 has hers in nice weather, and DC2 says it's not fair because DC1 gets to go to school on his birthday and see friends etc So in my experience, everybody moans about their birthdays (apart from those luck sods in May and June) so maybe don't overthink it
