I've just bought some Roasted Vegetable Couscous and don't know what to do with it.

I've recently started to eat healthy, and try new things. The new fruit this week is Kiwi, and I decided to try and branch out a bit with savory too, so I've gone for a Sainsburys Roasted Vegetable Couscous. I've never had it before and don't know what it goes with! Do you eat it on it's own? Do you have to flavour it with something? Is it nice?! Grin
Any advice gladly received.

Bulgur is also a great fibre source. Couscous is not.

How bloody joyless. Bulgar also tastes a lot like the floor. The OP is clearly trying to broaden her culinary horizons.

OP I’d go for falafel, hummus and some flatbread with cous cous.
No doubt the mumsnet competitive orthorexia lot will say that’s far too much carbohydrate but it’s tasty, filling and easy as it gets for a quick meal.

If you dont know how to cook with flavour then that's not really my fault if your versions are joyless.

The OP wants to eat healthier; these 2 things fill the same gap on the plate, and can be used in the same recipes. One is more healthy than the other, but pardon me for trying to expand her culinary horizons by suggesting other things she can try, with more health benefits.
