Does anyone have one of these tables with trestle legs from IKEA?

The ones where you can turn it into a sloping table top? Any chance anyone uses one as a dining table?

I am restarting my business and really need a table with a top that can slant to save my back. But the only way to fit one in our house is to replace our dining table with one.

I’m trying to figure out if there would be enough room to squeeze in two dining chairs on either side of this.

I realise it might look odd, but that’s the least of my worries right now! I’m currently working on a very small round dining table which isn’t big enough to do the work I want to be doing so need to find an alternative.

If anyone has one and can advise, since I can’t go and look myself at the moment, that would be so helpful. Thank you!

We have one as a desk, I think you’d struggle to get two chairs either side unfortunately since the legs are as wide as the table do you wouldn’t be able to get both sets of legs under.

Poop. Back to the drawing board then (literally)! Thanks for letting me know though.

What about the same top but with different IKEA legs, these are adjustable so you could still slant it. Not sure how they adjust though.
Not sure what sort of work you're doing but would a desk top easel work? www.google.com/search?q=desk+top+easel&oq=desk+top+easle&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j0i10l3j0i10i22i30.4668j0j4&client=ms-android-google&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8#scso=_HL5HYI7qG_Ko8gL5uY2QCA5:589.0908813476562
Thanks - I have a drawing board but I need it to be larger than A2 (ideally 70x100cm at least) so the easiest way seems to be a tilting table but finding one big enough is the challenge! When we move house it won’t be an issue but for now we don’t have room for a dining table and a desk. Boo!

Thanks @AnxiousAndUnraveling I will look at those!

If your table top is big big enough, is there any way you can put risers under the legs at one side and make it slope.

Or get a piece of wood the right size and put it on your table, supported at one side.

Do you have room for a larger desk? Might be easier to get the seats under that. It looks like IKEA do a 200 cm long version.

I’ll have a measure up today and see what we can fit in. I think the legs posted above wouldn’t work unfortunately - they are height adjustable but because they attach flat I think all legs would have to be adjusted to the same length.

DH works from home so our room is full of his desk and computers.

Hopefully we can move house in the next 12 months, I’m just feeling impatient!
