I've been looking for some since August & can't find any in stock anywhere. My son is autistic & very particular about fit, feel, texture, label placement etc. He likes the ones from George at Asda usually, but at this point I'm desperate for any.

I think you’re fractionally too early in the season, there’s little stock of any school shorts out yet in the supermarkets. Amazon seems to have some.

There's a couple of options on the M&S website. It says online only, but in my experience, they do very quick click and collect to any shop, including the food only ones.

I remove the labels from just about all my clothes due to irritation, so would that help, once you're happy to keep them of course.

Try Sturdy Kids.
They have stock in and can do adaptions if needed.

M&S do a plus fit in their adaptive shorts which have no labels or scratchy bits www.marksandspencer.com/2-pack-boys-plus-fit-adaptive-shorts/p/clp60099728?color=GREY

Thanks for that, unfortunately I need age 11-12 & they're out of stock at M&S. I'll give sturdy kids a go though.
