Anyone used "we buy any car"

I'm looking at selling my car, pretty quickly as I'm getting a new one through work. Probably worth about£2000 we buy any car offering £1650, I'd probably rather do this as less hassle selling it private but how easy is it and how long does it take? Does anyone know

Yes, hassle free and we got the online price.
Bloke said it was a nice car in good condition.

I thought they were shit but mine was a old banger worth £500 max . Anyway quote was something like £650 and honestly they will knock everything down . It’s a 15 year old car with 90k miles on the clock it’s not going to be in fantastic condition. As much as I don’t expect £££ it was worth a few hundred . Cf offered £60 scrap when I said no thanks tried to offer £100-£150 I said no thanks. I wasn’t prepared to deal with him for the cheek sold privately for £300 which again I think was less but just wanted it gone as had a new car but I wasn’t selling it for nothing .
The price on the quote is subject to a very thorough check so be wary .

Why didn’t they take your car @TheYearOfSmallThings?

Well in fairness it was 19 years old, had only one set of keys, and had recently been substantially dented by a Tesco van. I'm not really blaming them for not buying it, but on a point of accuracy it was a car and they did not buy it.

Motorhogs did, btw. They really will buy any car!

I used them. Think they did come down slightly from the website quote, but was expecting them to. Was too old for anyone to be interested in part exchange and didn't want to hassle or risk of selling privately.
